KUWAGAMON
Kuwagamon was the first Digimon that the Season 01 Digi-destined went against. No matter how hard they hit him, he always came back. After going up against 7 In-training and 7 rookie Digimon, Kuwagamon falls off of a cliff and is defeated.

DEVIMON
Devimon was in control of the Digital World when the Digi-destined arrived. He tried holding them off and defeating them by injecting Digimon with black gears that controlled their behavior. After a long, strenuous battle atop Mt. Infinity, Takeru and Patamon digivolve to Angemon. Devimon is defeated when Angemon uses Hand of Fate, but so is Angemon.

ETEMON
After Devimon is defeated, Etemon steps into the scene. Chasing the children all over the Digimon World, he tries to keep them from getting their tags and crests. After several battles, MetalGreymon and Taichi send an Andvanced Etemon into another dimension. Agumon and Taichi are sent back home.

DEMIDEVIMON/ MYOTISMON
Everyone in the Digimon world has separated due to Taichi being gone. They find out that their is an 8th Digi-destined child back on Earth. Problem is, a new evil named Myotismon and his flunky DemiDevimon are also searching for the 8th child. She turns out to be Hikari Yagami. After a long war waged between human and Digimon... both Myotismon and DemiDevimon are defeated and everyone is sent back to the Digital World. DemiDevimon is absorbed by Myotismon for more power and VenomMyotismon is defeated by WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Angemon, and Angewomon.

DARK MASTERS/ METALGARURUMON
The Dark Masters are four Mega level Digimon who have extreme power and show no mercy. After watching Piximon, Whamon, Numemon, Chuumon, and Sukamon die, the Digi-destined retaliate. After the defeat of the first Dark Master- Metal Seadramon, Yamato begins to drift farther away from the group. After much persuasion from the second Dark Master- Puppetmon.. Yamato and MetalGarurumon fight Taichi and WarGreymon. Yamato leaves after realizing what he had been doing.
